Some highlights from a couple of shoots I worked with Owen Gildersleeve, for the launch of the Fresh Future ’19 Awards. Owen was asked to interpret the 4 categories of awards (Carbon, Bronze, Silver & Gold), and we worked together to bring these hand-crafted rock and mineral forms to life, in a series of other worldly sets. We popped down to Wilson Benesch HQ in Sheffield in November, to photograph these beautiful speakers for The Absolute Sound magazine.
Cramped into a small meeting room, moving (at 80kg each!), let alone lighting, these speakers was a challenge, but everyone was very happy with the results!
This series of pictures came out of a recent collaboration with floral stylist Kasia Borowiecka. The Dis (lacking) Photic (light) zone in oceanography, refers to the layer of the ocean where only a small amount of light reaches, where lifeforms exist in perpetual twilight.
Thanks to Kasia, and Mai Kittipanwanich for the excellent floral styling, and to Dennis Post Production.
Here’s a little series I recently shot, about the moment of anticipation, waiting for that drip of sauce to FINALLY come out of the bottle.
With the recent launch of Goose Island’s session beer, “Midway”, we were asked to photograph the can and various animations for its launch. It’s all over London right now!
Thanks to Mother (London) and Wellcom London for the commission.
We were commissioned by British GQ earlier this year to shoot a series of photographs to illustrate an ongoing feature written by English chef and restauranteur, Mark Hix.
We photographed these at one of Mark's restaurants in London, at Hix Bar on Brewer Street. Thanks to Sam Dixon and Dustin MacMillan for their help with the styling and cocktails recipes.
A self assigned series. Meep meep.
I teamed up with food and drink stylist, Olivia Bennett, to create this series of summery al-fresco drinks.
Of course, the sun was manufactured in the studio, we were shooting it in England after all!
